CU Paintstroke Overlays and Elemental Papers

Hello all! Did you miss me yesterday? I am sorry I didn't get a chance to post last night but we went out with some friends to the winery to celebrate our dear friend Lynda's 50th birthday. There was a fabulous band and lots of yummy food and wine. (ohhh - too much wine - headache!) LOL. So today I will make up for it and give you two freebies. The first is a set of CU Paintstroke Overlays. I made these by first making strokes in ArtRage and saving the paintstrokes as .png files. I then opened them in CS3 and made the strokes into brushes. I played around with the size, angle, hue jitters, scatters, etc. settings to paint the strokes over a 3600 x 3600 canvas. They are in Jpeg form because they do not need to be on a transparent background and the jpegs do save HD space over the .pngs.

The second set of freebies are some papers I made with elements that I have photographed and offered in previous freebie sets. I used Mura's copies filter to duplicate the elements to fill the canvas. There are some buttons and leaves and flowers that you are free to recolor if you like! I sat down with CS3 today and am trying to teach myself how to work with paths so I can transform shapes easier for my Ocean Pals templates. I will have a set of fishies coming very soon!
And I would like to thank the very few of you who are saying prayers for my Cubbies. They need all the help they can get!
