Dewdrop Flowers! CU Flower Set #7

Well, those Cubbies are tanking again tonight. I'm starting to get depressed... They are so much better than they are playing right now and it's making me crazy! UGH. Anyway, you may have noticed a little (ok it's HUGE) write-up about my humble blog over at GingerScraps today. I am so excited to be her Friday Feature! I cannot imagine how long it took her to put all those previews together. I have issues posting one preview on my blog, for some reason Blogspot does not put those pictures where I want them to go! And there are always extra spaces after I post that aren't there as I am composing. But anyway, Ginger does a fantastic job finding freebies and I would love for you to go check out her blog and leave her some thanks for all her hard work!

Also, I meant to do this last night but the seahorse had me too frustrated I guess to remember. But Debbie over at Digital Keepsakes made two adorable QPs with my portion of the Cornucopia of Color kit. She does some great work and created several sets of QPs using different kits. Go over to her blog and check it out!

Yesterday I was at the craft store (for inspiration and to kill some time) and they had some gorgeous silk flowers called "Dewdrop Flowers." The flowers looked like they had little drops of dew on them. And they were so nice but almost $5 PER STEM! So needless to say I didn't buy any to photograph. DH is pretty disgusted that our basement is getting crowded with silk flowers that I have photographed and then just stuffed down in the storage room. I need a garage sale! So anyway- I was on bike patrol again today, which was nice because it finally cooled down enough to enjoy riding. We had several inches of rain yesterday and this morning everyting was still pretty wet. So I photographed several "dew drop" live flowers and it didn't cost me a cent! Not all the flowers in this set have dew on them but several do. And of course I do not know the names of any of these flowers except for the rose and mum. We don't have to know the names of flowers to enjoy them do we? I didn't de-saturate these flowers because they were just too pretty as-is. You are free to recolor them though to match your kits. Drop shadows for preview purposes only. Enjoy my CU Flower Set #7!

Deb, try Windows Live Writer, it lets you compose your post offline and then when you post it's exactly what you see - I had the same problem and it works great for me!
Love your blog no matter how you post!
