I'm Baaack - with some new CU Bows!

I know I have taken a few days off, but I really haven't been loafing.  I had this brilliant idea to make an action that would turn 8 of your brag book pages into a little accordian style mini mint-tin album.  And I wrote the action, and I re-wrote the action.  And it works fantastic in PS, PSE 5-7.  However, 2 print cartridges and a ream of paper later I have given up testing the dumb thing.  I can't get the pages lined up to print it front and back, they are off by a fraction of an inch and I can't figure it out.  I changed the settings a hundred times, flipped the paper in different directions, and determined that it cannot be done.  But if anyone is interested, I may package up the action anyway and you can print out the individual pages to put in a mint tin, you just won't want to print front to back on one piece of paper.  Or, you can print two pages and glue the papers back to back after you cut them out.

So - since the brag book to mint tin album action was a flop and I spent the better part of 3 days on it, I decided to break out the Bowdabra and try it again.  If you remember I bought this contraption months ago but my bows all looked pretty sad.  I actually sat down and watched the DVD that came with it (yeah I know, shoulda done that first).  I figured out that if you use the wired edged ribbon it produces much nicer bows.  So when I was at the dollar store the other day I bought several spools of wired edge ribbon and sat down to figure out how to make the bows.  They turned out ok, and I am excited that I can add some hand made bows to the packages this Holiday Season!  I photographed my practice bows and extracted them, and now they are all yours!  Feel free to recolor, resize, as needed.  I have several more too but found them too difficult to extract so I will re-photograph in my ghetto light box and get them up at a later date.

Deb, you MOST certainly deserve some time off, even if you should CHOOSE to loaf!!! Gosh girl, you are BUSY, BUSY, BUSY, except for the time you sleep and then I have a VERY good hunch that your brain is TRAVELING at the speed of light whilst thou sleep!!! *big grin*

HAPPY TUESDAY and THANK YOU for the LOVELY gift!

Hugs,
Linda :)

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that cusses Photoshop (almost as much as I yell at my LSU Tigers for not winning this weekend, but I'm not bitter). Thought it was just me.

If you figure it out, it sounds like loads of fun!

Thanks for the freebies!

Oh these are beautiful! Be careful what traditions you start though. I took over my Mom's tradition of hand made bows on all the gifts at Christmas - so now I'm the one up all hours of the night making bows (I don't have a bowarama though)...and then the hard part - trying to put the gifts all under the tree without squishing the bows... LOL

Thank you so much for this lovely gift - and don't worry about taking time off. We miss you - but heaven knows you certainly deserve it...

Thank you again!

oh my GOSH! these are absolutely gorgeous my dear. And I sincerely mean that.

Thank you so much for the wonderful stuff you make. It is so fun to watch you develop those incredible talents. I think you deserve "time off" too, but I do know how relaxing it is for some of us to scrap.

As you know, I have been making templates for the SOTB blog...and on the last two used your stitching brushes! The ones that follow a path? Only I must be too shakey, so...lol...on the circles I did one stitch. Then copied and pasted it. HAHAHAHA. I am a goober.

Anyway, first time I got to use one of your great items. Thank you so much!
