CU Snow Alpha Template!

Today's freebie is something a little different from me.  I was looking through my many thousand fonts and came across this snow font in my CU folder.  I filled the "snow" in with a snowy layer style I created and the letters I made a clear stroked acrylic.  I then made a "fill" layer under the alphas.  Here's the idea: You open up the .psd (pngs also included of course).  There are two layers, the acrylic layer and the fill layer.  You can apply any layer style or pattern fill to the fill layer, or use background papers applied to the fill layer.  Merge the layers and you have an instant alpha sheet.  Here's the cool thing:  I used Brandy's Mega Alpha Cutter2 grid for the alpha.  So if you have this great action, you can drag the grid into the bottom layer of this .psd and run the Mega Alpha Cutter2 action to have individual pngs!  If you don't have the action, you can keep the alpha on a "sheet" or you will need to separate the alphas and save them individually.  Oh, no I guess you won't because I've cut up the alphas and fills into individual pngs so if you want to create your alpha that way you can.  But I do highly recommend the action if you have Photoshop or PSE.  She has some great sales this weekend and you can pick it up for a couple bucks at one of her stores. Head over to her site for store info.  Here's an example of an alpha I made in about 2 seconds with this template and a great pattern from Camxso: PatternedSnowAlpha
And here's a striped alpha I made with a pattern I created that I'm giving away tonight too:

Snow? What is this strange white stuff you speak of?

I know not what this is.

Haha, I'm totally kidding - we haven't had measurable snow fall since the week my sister was born. She'll be 21 in 2 months.

I'm sure I'll find a use for them anyway, I always manage to find a way to use your freebies!

You're awesome, they're great!
