This morning I played a little with Camxso's and ActionFx's snowflake shapes and came up with three overlays you can use for your winter papers. Although the preview shows them on a white background, they are actually black snowflakes on a transparent background in png format. That way you can add layer styles to the snowflakes (like bevel or emboss, a gradient overlay, etc.) I am working on another template to post later tonight but I wanted to give you guys something to download while you read the rest of this exciting post! Notice that 4shared is now my secondary link? I have been in correspondence with Jay from FileSavr and asked if they could add the ability to leave comments on the download page as it is so difficult to do so now on 4shared. He agreed to help us digiscrappers out and now you can leave a comment right there on the download page. AND - no waiting for the ads because there are NO ADs. Easy Peasy! And he advised that they have also worked on their end to fix the problem with the large uploads not uploading 100%. I haven't tested this yet but I sure hope it works because I have just about lost all patience with 4shared. So give Filesavr a try!

And last but certainly not least, I have been testing some patterns for Brandy at Megadoodle Inspired. She created sets of Diamond, Argyle, and Plaid patterns, overlays, and .psds for commercial use to create some great papers! Here's a preview of the Argyle set:
She has also included some fantastic tutorials on different ways to use them, even seasoned veterans can learn some new techniques with the included Tuts. She is getting them in her stores this week so check out her site for store links and info!

Wonderful shares, and thank you for the comments info about FileSavr. I also use it for some of my shares (I seem to have a problem with DigiFree picking up my posts if its the only site I have my shares on), and hopefully more people will use FileSavr and DigiFree will add it to the list of uploading sites that it recognizes.
