Some CU Ribbon Wraps

As much as I love Christmas, I hate the mess afterwards.  We have empty boxes everywhere and I keep stepping on the little wires that the toy companies think are required to keep the toys in their boxes.  No kidding, I think it took more time to unpackage the Barbies than the little girl played with them.  Well we had a minor disaster here earlier when she tripped over one of the empty boxes and pulled the laptop from the table.  It fell on the floor and I thought it was fine.  I put it back on the table and was able to use it.  Then later when I sat down to play, it would not turn on.  I had left the laptop on and plugged in when I went back to work today.  Upon closer inspection I observed that the power cord was damaged so the battery is dead.  As tempted as I was to venture out to Best Buy for a new cord I couldn't justify paying upwards of $100 for a cord that I can buy on Ebay for $10.  Plus it was REALLY foggy here this evening and I had no business going out in the fog.  I was disappointed too because I had two sets of overlays completed and they were only on the laptop HD.  I was going to put up a set tonight and the other set tomorrow night.
Soooo, instead I pulled out the handy dandy light box again and photographed some ribbon wraps that I tied around the same DVD case.  Although the preview shows colored wraps, they are all greyscale and ready for you to recolor.  I had to extract them on the PC, which is actually much faster than the laptop but not near as comfortable as I like to sit on the couch with the laptop and the PC chair kills my back.  Anyway, I hope you can use them.  Thanks for all the great comments on the rubber band set offered yesterday.  Already several hundred downloads!  Each wrap is almost 12" wide, no drop shadows.

Sorry to hear about your laptop, one of the cats chewed through our laptop power cord (luckily it wasn't plugged in at the time) but we completely lucked out as the one from our ancient lappie was the same size and voltage and works just fine - guess buying the same el cheapo basic one was a good idea. I'm the other way around and hate having to work on the laptop because the couch kills my back and the PC chair is so much more comfortable. Hope you get up and running soon, must be so frustrating for you.

Thanks for these fab wraps, I really appreciate all you do for us scrappers!

thanks for the ribbon wraps, so very much love your work. Had to look back and see where you are from when you mentioned the fog. It was as thick as soup yesterday evening here in the south suburbs of Chicago, could actually seeing it rolling along.

"The morning after" takes on a whole new meaning with Christmas.. papers, ribbons, bows, scotch tape stuck on the carpeting & floor, tags, boxes, broken toys....

Thank you so much for the ribbon wraps... you're amazing!
