Ribbon Flower2 Action for PS/PSE

Well I survived my first night of 3rd shift, but found it isn't as easy to sleep during the day as I thought it would be. I've had 3 hours so far and hope to get a nap before going back in tonight. So to spend my insomnia filled day I created a little action for Photoshop and PSE that looks like a double-sided ribbon flower. You choose the color, pattern, or back ground paper for each portion of the ribbon and choose the color for the brad in the middle. When the action is finished, the brad is on a separate layer so you can discard it if you would rather use a button or other embellishment for the center of your flower. Or you can layer two or more flowers for a more three dimensional effect. I'm so sorry for my non-PS/PSE users, the next freebie will include something you can use!

Edit: noon on 1/14/09 - one of the actions in the PSE5 folder was mispelled.
Thanks so much to Judy for catching it! I corrected the file and re-uploaded.

That's an awesome flower!!!

I hate to sound like a druggie, but if you pop a Tylenol PM, it'll help you sleep. I don't recommend doing it during the day, but maybe after you send the kids off to school? So it'll give you 8 hours of sleep.

Or maybe I shouldn't tell you how to sleep so we keep getting goodies :)

Hope the sleep comes soon!!

Thanks for another terrific action!Good luck with the shift adjustment. Take it from a die hard insomniac, the Tylenol PM works.

I remember your first one. Thank you so much for sharing them. Good luck on your new shift. I know how a change in hours can mess you up. I work for USPS.

tyvm for the great action! Being a nurse I gotta do the IMHO thing...lol...if you are achy get the Tylenol PM but if you just want to sleep get the generic Benedryl, which is what is in it because tylenol is hard on kidneys (I know i'm in renal failure). You could try melatonin too which is a supplement (over the counter) that resets your biological time clock and is useful for when you change shifts. I use to work that shift and it takes a toll on your body if you don't get "Rest" and not just sleep. God bless!
