Tool Time Part 1

From Valentines to Chihuahuas to tools, you never know what direction I am going next do you?  Tonight and for the next several posts I am giving away a bunch of tools, fasteners, do-dads, etc.  And if I have time I'll even throw in some background papers.  I thought it would be fun to do a kit for the guys so I am calling this theme "Tool Time".  It's mostly just a bunch of junk I have lying around my garage and basement that I decided to photograph in my new light box!  I hope someone can get some use from them.  Drop shadows are for preview purposes only.

Tools?! Really? Hah! Those will be perfect for the "Just like Daddy" LO's!

And for the duct tape letters Gunhild has!

Funny story: My family has traditional knit, personalized Christmas stockings. Our first Christmas (we'd been dating a total of a month) my husband decided he wanted one, too. I went to Walmart Christmas Eve night, found a horribly cheap leftover one for a dollar and wrote his name on it with duct tape. He loved it more than he loved our expensive ones! I'm just glad he's got a four letter name. :) Maybe that's an LO calling my name :)

Can't way for the boy/man elements, I'm in dire need of some!

Actually, just tonight I was going through some files and deleting stuff and I got rid of some not so great tools. I thought to myself if I needed some I would take a photo and extract it. Now I don't have to, thank you Deb!

My single daughter bought a home and is becoming quite the handywoman! I'll have to catch her in the act to make a great LO!

These are some SUPER COOL TOOLS Deb!!! The needle-nosed pliers look identical to a pair I've been toting around for years, but with a dark blue handle!!! LOL! These are SUPERB and I am beginning to yearn for a NEW camera and a lightbox!!!

Thank you love!

XOXO,
Linda :)

Oh these are sooo kewl! I have a son whom we tease without mercy for the time he spends on building projects. The thing is he will FIND something to build if there isn't anything that needs to be built.

He has three T-shirts that read, "I must have my garage time"...that three different family members bought him on the same Christmas without talking to each other. You can bet I LOVE these and look forward to more installments.

THANK YOU sooooo much for your abundant generosity. It is most certainly appreciated.

Great job on the tools, cute little Mexican puppy and Valentine flowers, thanks for all of that. Went to the section where you tell about yourself and realized that you are from my home State. A senior citizen, lived in the Chicago area all my life, either in the city or in one of the south suburbs. Grew up as a Sox fan since I have always lived on the southside. My DD married almost 15 yrs ago to another south suburban, who is a die hard Cub fan. And yes, I'm a turncoat now. Can't go against him and my sweet little granddaughters who also idolize the Cubbies. A lot of the tools looks just like the ones that I have in the garage and basement, my orgainization is not the best. Great job.

Thank you so much, Deb! I have had a tool kit in the works for ages...and the only thing stopping me is that I'm too time-pressed to extract tools myself. Thanks to you and the lightbox, I can get up and runnin' on my Toolbox! Can't wait. I'll let you know when I have something to show you....

What luck to find this kit! I've got 3 grandsons under the age of 7 and they all love tool kits. I've got some great pics of them helping their dads and grandpa but haven't found just the right kit.. til now! There is so much pink girly stuff out there but very little for the boys. Thanks soooo much and Happy New Year!
