I had an anonymous comment on the
Charms post asking how to change the strings on the charms and if I could post a tutorial. I’ve said it a million times but I’m just not a very good tutorial writer. I try to leave the teaching to those who are so much better at it! So many times it is easier to do than to show someone how to do it. Make sense? I’m certain there are a million tutorials that show the same thing but you won’t find one much quicker than this one! I say quick but this thing took about an hour to record and edit. That’s another reason I get frustrated with tutorials, they are very time consuming. I have so much respect for
Hummie and
Spencer who consistently provide such fabulous tutorials for us! And I recorded this video in PSE7, which I rarely use but I think that more readers use PSE than the full-blown Photoshop. Again, it’s not pretty but it’s a quickie and there are no layer masks involved so make sure you are working with duplicates!
You can go to YouTube if you want to watch it in HQ. I also photographed and extracted some ribbon wraps that you can use to practice with! 5 ribbons that will go to the edge of your layouts and are ready for you to recolor. Enjoy!

Thank you very much !
Oh,that's was nice of you to provide a tutorial! I don't need it myself, and I do think it's fair for you to suggest googling for tuts after all the other work you do.. So that's especially why I want to say " You Rock!"
I think you absolutey rock hon. You are generous and kind hearted - a very rare quality in people these days. Especially on the net. Thank you for all you do - it's appreciated by me more than you know.
We just want to say thank you for the time you spend sharing your talent with us. Especially thank you for the ribbons because extracting isn't a quick and easy thing to do, So thank you!
Deb...nice little tutorial...thanks for addressing the issue of shadowing with the burn tool! Shadows are so important. You rock, girl...thank you for all your work and your generosity. Love ya!
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing the ribbons.
fantastic wraps Deb, I know I will definately be using those very soon.
You say 30 seconds like it's a bad thing. For us newbies that means we could probably do it in 10 minutes! Thanks for the tutorial.

Thank you so much for sharing.
I love the 'simple' elements you make. Thank you so much. And your tutorial is very educating: even I understood!! :-))

Thanks for the great ribbons. Good tutorial too but, yeah, they sure can take up a lot of your time.

Thank you for the great tutorial and ribbon wraps! I've only done regular photo presentation videos, not tutorials, and they are time consuming! Thank you for taking the time to create the video and scapbooking items - and for sharing them with us.

I love them ! I love that they don't have too big bows or knots that would hide the picture like sometimes they do. Great freebie ! Thank you so much for sharing your hard work.
