We've done these with the larger 1" marbles and our kids' photos. Gave a set of 6 to all of the grandparents one year for Christmas. :) Elmer's glue actually works just as well for gluing the photos to the glass beads and it dries (mostly) clear too!

you can try different options with this not just the dictionary cut outs. you can have a picture in there (maybe) of your child, pet, etc. But you may want to check if the floral marbles does not distort the images (unless you are targeting some funny faces). this can also be used as a name tag. this project is so diverse, i'm itching to try it now.

What an awesome and adorable little gift idea! I'm heading out tomorrow to go get supplies. I think that I will try both the pendants and magnets. Also, I came across an old gardening catalogue the other day with small pictures of different flowers. I'm going to make some with roses, tulips and other flowers on them too!

Thanks! I've been making magnets for a few years, using glass pebbles from DollarTree (love that store!) but never thought of doing pendants. I'm going to try that next.
