CU Farm animal Doodles

This is all I could get done before the Cub/Card game tonight and I'm again going on zero sleep since 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon.  I have been slacking but have found my motivation seriously lacking lately.  I have received so many emails the past few weeks from people asking to clarify my TOU and asking to use my freebies to create things that I had never even considered that I would need to include in my TOU and to create CU items with my CU freebies.  It's obvious that I need to revamp my TOU and probably just post it on the blog so that those questions can be answered before you even download.  I am also considering just making everything PU/SFO/SFH only in the future and offer an occasional CU freebie.  This would not apply to past freebies, just future ones.  Maybe I'm getting burned out.  Maybe I'm just exhausted and rambling.  It's been a rough few weeks and I'm sure I'll snap out of it, bear with me!

The Doodle Alpha is now a Font!

Tonight's freebie is a two for one deal!  I received an email from Spencer at Humbug Graphics Galore after I released the doodle alpha.  She volunteered to make the alpha into a font!  Isn't that awesome?  I appreciate all the time she took to font and kern the alpha!  And I have also been playing around in Font Creator and made an alpha that I call Fat and Lazy.  They are both included in the .zip and are both CU friendly!SC_FantandLazyPreview

CU Animal Doodles

Today's set of Doodles are some more animals.  There is a method to my madness, I am planning on putting together enough doodle animals to do another dingbat font with all of them.  You may recognize a few of them from earlier templates that I converted into doodles.

CU Glitter Swirl Doodles!

He he, I am so thrilled by the awesome layouts and word art some of you ladies have submitted using the Doodle Alpha.  You don't know how happy it makes me to see how everyone is using the Alpha!  For today's freebie I sat down with ArtRage (One of the many programs I rarely use) and my Wacom and drew some glitter doodles that you can recolor very easily to match your layouts or kits because they are silver/grey.  Each are in .png and I don't think all of them made the preview because I added a couple after I finished it.  And I know I have a bunch of emails to answer - there's not enough time in the day when I sleep all day and work all night!  LOL.  Please be patient, I will get to you as soon as I possibly can!

CU Doodle Alpha and a Challenge!

Today's freebie comes with a challenge and a bonus if you participate!  I have literally spent the past three evenings working on this silly alpha.  A few weeks ago you may remember I created my Twiddle Dee Doodle and Twiddle Dum Doodle fonts.  When I made them using Illustrator and Photoshop, I created custom shapes of each character before making them into fonts.  So since I had the custom shapes all saved I thought it would be fun to try my hand at a doodle font.  Well, I found that with the basic font software that I have (Scanahand) the fonts don't look too good since the space in the template is so small that the details were lost when the software made the font.  So I decided to just make an alpha from the .csh instead of a font.  The capital letters are each unique and the lower case letters are all similar.  The set also includes the numbers 0-9 and many different punctuation characters, all in individual .pngs in black.  Feel free to recolor, fill the doodles with your favorite color or pattern, apply your favorite layer style, etc.  And here's the very cool news:  My friend Hummie has allowed me to post a Use It! challenge on her forum with this freebie!  That's right, I want to see your layouts, word art, etc. made with the doodle alpha!  And here's the cool thing:  All those who participate in the challenge will receive the .csh file of the doodle letters!  So if you use PS or PSE, you can just use the .csh file instead of trying to find each individual png and you can make the letters as large or small as you like without loss of quality!  You can find the challenge over on Hummie's forum HERE!  If you don't want to participate in this challenge, there are plenty of others over there and some awesome tutorials too!  There's always lots going on at Hummie's World!

CU Baby Doodles

Since my baby making days are over I haven't made any baby items for freebies.  But I did have a lot of fun with the boy and girl doodles and thought that you may like some doodles for baby layouts and kits.  I think I am most proud of the little shoe.  I had planned to do more baby toys but ran out of time tonight.  I also think that I may do some dinos, baby animals, etc.  I have also seen some adorable kits done already with the boy doodles from two days ago!  You gals are FAST!
