CU OK Tag in a Bag Layered Template

I was at the craft store today and they had these really cute scrapbook embellishments they called “tag in a bag”.  They were little paper bags with a slip of paper in them that you use on your paper scrapbook pages.  I am not sure if they have very practical use in digiscrapping because you can’t pull the tag out to read it but I thought they were cute and maybe someone could find a use for them.  I made this template by scanning a paper bag and then using that image to clip to the layered template shapes.  Included in the .zip is the brown bag template (front and back .pngs) and a plain paper “tag” and a lined “tag” and the greyscale template in .pngs and .psd so you can pick your favorite paper or layer style to create your own element.

CU OK Cracked Paint Layer Styles and seamless Image Tile

For today’s freebie I made a set of cracked paint styles using a great Filter Forge filter “Cracked Paint” by handlebar. I also included the grey seamless tile I used for the styles if you cannot use the styles.  Just recolor as you need in your program! CU OK Stapled Ribbons

Today’s freebie is a set of ribbons that I folded and stapled, then photographed.  I chose multi-colored ribbons so that hopefully you can find one to match your kits or layouts.  I also bought some buttons that will hopefully match these and will post them soon!

All the ribbons are 13” wide and without drop shadows.

CU OK Binder Clip Templates

Today’s freebie is a set of binder clip templates that you can use to create your own binder clips.  Here’s the scoop: you put the top of the binder clip on it’s own layer and then recolor or add a pattern or clip a paper to the top binder piece.  I have found that using “soft light” as a blend mode works best for this element.  Then you place one of the binder clips on its own layer under the top.  You can then make them into frames and place pictures, etc. inside or just use them as they are.  Here’s an example:

CU OK Doodle Swirl shapes and .pngs

Today’s freebie is a set of doodle swirls in .csh for Photoshop/PSE and individual .png files. 

And I am having issues with Online Storage Solution right now.  I have had several problems with my links not working and now when I try to log into my account it just says “loading” forever and I’m unable to do so.  Hopefully they will get everything resolved and I will post the link later.  I am beginning to wonder if $19/year is just too good to be true for my file hosting.  I love the idea of a direct download link but if they don’t work half the time  then what’s the point? I will always upload to at least two different sites and hopefully at least one of them will be working at any time.  One thing I can say about Online Storage Solution is that they are very responsive to my questions so I can say their customer service/support team seems to be top notch! I’ll post the OSS link as soon as I can.

CU OK Plastic Stars

Well I bought these little pony tail holders recently at the dollar store and was going to photograph them as photo wraps but I couldn’t figure out a way to stretch the elastic and attach it  to something to photograph it.  Obviously glue was not going to work and I tried glue dots but they weren’t strong enough either. So I just cut the elastic off and photographed the stars.  Use your imagination, I think they would be cute if you made a frame from them:

CU OK Stitched Overlays

When we went to the Mall of America last week I spent a lot of time (and money, lol) in Archivers.  I found these very cool stitch templates by Bazzill.  I had a chance to play around with them today and hand stitched some cardstock and created some cool overlays with some of my filters and brushes. I hope you like them! I have plans for several more if these are popular.
